Two-Factor Authentication<\/b>\u00a0(2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Namecheap account in addition to your username and password by requiring access to the phone number associated with your account. When the Two-Factor Authentication is enabled, your account cannot be accessed by anyone unauthorized by you, even if they have stolen your password.<\/p>\n

OneTouch 2FA<\/b>\u00a0is the one of the easiest methods to approve your login or password reset requests. You can start using this new feature by installing an\u00a0updated version of the Namecheap application<\/b>\u00a0for iOS (v. 3.6.0) or Android (v. 1.1.4) that supports it.<\/p>\n

For now, the functionality to use OneTouch with the Authy application\u00a0is absent<\/u>.<\/p>\n

Please note that you can add\u00a0several devices<\/b>\u00a0(for example, phones, tablets, etc.) to your Namecheap account to receive the OneTouch app notifications. However, the\u00a0same device<\/b>\u00a0can be paired with one Namecheap account only.<\/p>\n

Only\u00a0one phone number<\/b>\u00a0can be associated with the OneTouch 2FA method, and it’s possible to upgrade the\u00a0same phone number<\/b>\u00a0within several Namecheap accounts for OneTouch.<\/p>\n

How to start using OneTouch<\/b><\/p>\n

First of all,\u00a0get the Two-Factor Authentication feature enabled<\/a>\u00a0for your Namecheap account.<\/p>\n
